Dr. Rearick
Dr. Rearick is a board-certified family physician with a background in sports medicine. He trained in rural family medicine at West Virginia University (WVU), where sending patients to a specialist often meant hours of travel. Because of that, he was trained to handle as much as a family doctor safely can and takes great pride in being a generalist, caring for boys and girls, men and women of all ages.
After years of seeing how hard it was for people to get thoughtful, timely care, Dr. Rearick created Inclined Health for the community he calls home. His goal is simple: to be the kind of family doctor you can actually reach. As his patient, you can call, text, or schedule a same-week appointment and know you will not be waiting months to be seen.
The name was inspired by Johnstown’s famous Inclined Plane, a symbol of turning a hard climb into something that can be handled. It reflects our belief that even the toughest health challenges feel more manageable when you have someone you trust by your side.
As a husband, father, and lifelong learner, he brings compassion and humor into every patient relationship. It’s why his patients say things like, “You actually listen.” And while Dr. Rearick has been recognized as one of Johnstown Magazine’s “35 Under 35” and voted Johnstown’s Favorite PCP in 2024, what matters most to him will always be the people — the families, kids, and neighbors who trust him with their care.

The kind of doctor who still laughs at a kid’s joke, and remembers what really matters.
Medicine, to Dr. Rearick, has always been about more than charts and diagnoses. He still remembers a little girl he treated after a dog bite. She was going through a lot for a kid her age, so he would spend his breaks coloring with her, between crayons and IV treatments, they joked and talked about life. During those times, she handed him one unforgettable piece of advice
"Never trust a fart."

He still laughs about it today.
Moments like that remind him why he chose this work, because real care goes beyond fixing what’s wrong; it’s also about seeing the person behind the patient. And reminding them that they are still human, beautifully human, no matter what they’re going through.
The Inclined Difference
At Inclined Health, we use a direct primary care (DPC) model. Instead of running every visit through insurance, your primary care is covered by a simple monthly membership. Because we keep our patient panel smaller, there is more time, access, and follow-through between you and your doctor.
